Hello! I'm Maria Rice, and I'm a junior at Columbia University. I study computer engineering with a concentration in entrepreneurship. I have been fortunate to gain a variety of experiences, both in and out of the classroom. Last summer, I interned on the Vehicle Electrical Engineering team at Nuro, a startup which creates autonomous bots for food and goods delivery. This upcoming summer, I am looking forward to interning with BCG in Dubai as a Visiting Junior Associate.

Additionally, I am passionate about community outreach. I currently serve as the Head of DEI at the Columbia Daily Spectator, a non-profit of near 500 undergraduate students. In the future, I hope to combine my academic and professional experiences to lead a startup that uses technology to empower the communities around me.
